My first holiday!

I really enjoyed my first holiday! We went to a lovely little cottage in Llansteffan, West Wales which was right by the beach. We visited Carmarthen, Tenby, Llansteffan Castle and Folly Farm as well as going for walks in the local area. The cottage didn’t have a bath and I’m too young to have a shower, so I had my baths in the kitchen sink for the first time which was funny!! Teehee!!!

Cardiff Bay!

We went to Cardiff Bay today – it was my first time there. Boy, it sure was windy! Mummy and Daddy made sure I was all nice and warm in my pram though! After our walk we went for a Mexican meal. Mummy and Daddy were mean though, they wouldn’t let me have anything! I had to have my boring milk instead! *sulk*

Jumperoo!

I had a jumperoo for Easter from Nana and Grandad! I love it! Thanks Nana and Grandad! I can jump up and down for ages all by myself. For some reason, me in this makes Mummy and Daddy hysterical! They say it’s because my jumping up and down and laughing is soo cute and funny! (I know, they’re weird!)

Have a lookie………..! :-)

Happy Easter!

Happy Eggster! It was my first Easter, and to be honest, I don’t really understand what the fuss is all about.

Daddy explained to me that years and years and years ago, Jesus died on a cross on a Friday, and went in a tomb, and on Sunday, he disappeared. They all say that Jesus died to save mankind, and rose on Sunday to join God in heaven. He became a powerful figure in religion. Easter is a time of rebirth and ressurection, and eggs are a symbol of that.

Daddy thinks that Easter has become a money-spinner for loads of companies, and he thinks that Easter has become a new Christmas. See, I told you I was clever! I do pick these things up, you see!

Mind you, I like Easter! Why? Cos I had loads of pressies! Hehehehehehhehee!

Food, food, glorious food!

Wowee! Food! I finally got to taste proper food! Mummy and Daddy decided I’m grown up enough now to start eating some proper food instead of boring milk, milk, milk all the time!

Mummy explained to me the other day that this process is called “weaning”, which means teaching me how to eat food using a spoon, so that I’m “weaned” off the milk bottle! Wowee! That’s SO interesting, and I’m enjoying the new experience!

Mummy and Daddy sat me on the bumbo on the dining table for my second feed, added a bit of milk to some baby rice, mixed it up, and fed it to me on a spoon! I was like, “huh? what’s this?” and dribbled it out, because because I’m SOOOOO clever, I got the hang of it pretty quickly! *giggles*

Mummy says that I will have more and more baby rice and then Farley’s Rusk will be on the menu! Apparently, it’s supposed to be lush! Can’t wait to taste it!

Bumbo!

Look at me! I’m sitting up in my own chair all by myself! Nanny and Grandie bought this for me! Thanks Nanny and Grandie!
