The grand old Duke of York!

Oh, The grand old Duke of York,
He had ten thousand men;
He marched them up to the top of the hill,
And he marched them down again.

And when they were up, they were up,
And when they were down, they were down,
And when they were only half-way up,
They were neither up nor down.

I love the grand old Duke of York!! I keep getting Mummy and Daddy to play it over and over on my nursery rhymes CD in the car (good job they’re Deaf!) and I keep watching it over and over on my nursery rhymes DVD!

Oh, The grand old Duke of Yoooooooork,

And he marched them down agaaaaaaain.

And when they were up, they were uuuuup,
And when they were down, they were dooooooown,
And when they were only half-way up,
They were neither up nor dooooown.

*marches around the room*

Lunch with Aunty Rachael!

I went for lunch with Mummy, Libby and Aunty Rachael today!

I fell asleep in the car on the way to The Harvester and because I was so so tired, I carried on sleeping when we got there! Mummy and Rachael chose a table that had seats like a sofa, so I ended up lying down and slept for about an hour! It was so comfy!

Libby slept for the first hour too, so Mummy and Rachael were able to have their lunch and chat in peace! When I woke up, Libby woke up too! I then had my lunch and chatted to Aunty Rachael while Libby had her milk!

I like Aunty Rachael, she’s cool! :-D

Open wide!

Eeeeeeek! I had a dentist appointment today and Daddy took me!

I thought it was going to be torture but the very nice dentist’s assistant gave me some stickers and talked to me while she looked in my mouth with a mirror!

Everything is fine, Daddy says, and I have to go back in 6 months! Hmmmm …. !

We’re going to the zoo, zoo, zoo …

… how about you, you, you?!

I went to the zoooooo today! WOWEE!! Mummy and Daddy took me to Bristol Zoo in, well, Bristol, today, and we met Rachael and Matthew there!

I saw lions, penguins, seals, monkeys, gorillas, meerkats and loads of other animals! I liked it! Mummy and Daddy, can we go again soon?

Cluck, cluck, cluck!

Oohh! Mummy went out tonight for Great Aunty Andrea’s hen night (she’s getting married on 10 September) and I got to stay home with Daddy! Wheeeeeeeee!

I don’t very often get the chance to spend an evening just Daddy and meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! We had a lot of fun and I made Daddy laugh lots because I did my FANTASTIC impression of a seal and copied Daddy blowing his nose! *giggles*

Daddy gave me a bath as usual and then cuddled me to sleep on the sofa and then put me to bed! I don’t know what Daddy did after that, but I reckon he just watched the telly! Hehe!

Hope we get a chance to have some daddy and son time again soooon!

Painting!!

I did some painting today for the first time! It’s messy!!!

When Daddy painted my hand for the first time, I was like “no, no, no”. Well, what does he expect?! Never had paint on me before! Bright blue and smells of … erm … paint?! Daddy put some on his hand too! I’m gonna call him Daddy Blue Hands from now on! *giggle*

Daddy made me put my blue hand on a piece of paper, and once I saw what happened – a print of my hand, I was like “oooh”! And Daddy made a print of his hand too! Wowee!

I was still not sure after that though, but I made it a *little* bit easier for Daddy to put more paint on my hands, as Mummy was determined to have some to go into my baby book! Mummys, eh?!

After that, Mummy painted my feet and Daddy made me stand on some paper! I didn’t like it, no siree! Why the hell would I want paint on my feet!? Parents!!!

Mummy and Daddy have promised to let me play with more paint when the weather’s better so that I do it outside! Hmm!!!!!!!

Here are my works of art! *beams proudly*

Mischief maker!

I’m getting up to lots of mischief these days!! Teehee!

Well, I am a boy after all! ;-)

Drinking out of a cup!

You know I said I was a big boy in my last post? Me drinking out of a cup is further evidence!

I like drinking out of a cup! I made a bit of a mess on my top at first. Ooops! I’m getting the hang of it now though!
